As an immigrant, I feel a great sense of honor, to be a citizen of this great nation. I also am amazed at times, at the level of ignorance and lack of knowledge of this nation’s struggle for independence, along with loyalty and patriotism that at times is missing in our great country. Listen to this story, and let it be a lesson in patriotism. These United States of America, did not come to life easy. It has struggled and it has bled. It has had great successes, and made grave mistakes. Yet, it remains the beacon of freedom for all those around the world.
Cherish it, honor it, and above all, remember the principles that it was founded upon. God bless you, and may God bless the United States.
