A new affordable housing has been proposed for development at 6010 North Klump Avenue in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. Affordable Housing Revealed at 8500 South Vermont Avenue, Vermont-Knolls

A new affordable housing project is now market-ready at 8500 South Vermont Avenue in the Vermont-Knolls neighborhoods in South Los Angeles. The affordable housing project will offer dwelling units for local seniors and families within two buildings rising six stories high.

Bridge Housing Corporation is the project developer. TCA Architects is responsible for the designs.

The new housing complex offers 180 apartments built within two podium-style buildings. The first building is named Luminus@Evermont. The apartments are designed as a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans. The units are reserved for households earning between 30 and 80 percent of the Los Angeles area median income.

A new affordable housing project has been proposed for development at 4464 Sepulveda Boulevard in Culver City. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story affordable housing complex with a subterranean parking garage.

Community Corp. of Santa Monica is the project developer, working in partnership with the Culver-Palms United Methodist Church. FSY Architects is responsible for the designs.

Jubilo Village, the affordable housing project will bring 95 affordable homes for families along with community and garden space in a six-story building. Plans also call for two new buildings which would serve as a new home for Culver Palms United Methodist and its pre-school.

The affordable housing will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans reserved for households earning between 30 and 80 percent of the area’s median income level.

Six-Story Apartment Building Approved at 3301 Canfield Avenue, Palms

The project site can be seen with scaffolding and exterior development for a new six-story apartment building. The project replaced a triplex and three single-family residences on the site. The six-story will bring 50 apartments designed as three-bedroom floor plans. Parking will be provided for 25 vehicles. A portion of ground-floor parking will be converted into 12 Accessory Dwelling Units.

The apartment building features a podium-style design, with outdoor decks and a gym.

The project was granted approvals with Transit Oriented Communities incentives, allowing for a larger structure than usually allowed under zoning rules. In exchange, five of the new apartments will be set aside as deed-restricted affordable housing at the extremely low-income level. The estimated project construction timeline has not been revealed yet.

A new affordable housing project has been inaugurated on a site located at the intersection of 3rd Street and Dangler Street in East Los Angeles. The project proposal included the construction of new affordable housing units located near Los Angeles Metro’s E Line.

National CORE is listed as the project developer. AC Martin is responsible for the designs.

Named Las Dahlias, the apartment building brings 78 units as affordable housing options for locals. The apartment building rises four stories high on a previously vacant parcel. The units are designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. Parking is provided for 39 vehicles in a garage under the apartments.
