🍝 Takeout Tuesday went on a road trip this week to SCAFA’s Italian Restaurant in Spotsylvania, Virginia!

We were joined by fellow State Farm Agent Buster Nelson for some great food and even better company. SCAFA’s is a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant serving up delicious Italian favorites.

We always enjoy the opportunity to support local, family-owned businesses—and this stop did not disappoint!

🎗️ September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re proud to spotlight the Emma Jordon Kidz Fighting Cancer Foundation! 💛

The Emma Jordon Kidz Fighting Cancer Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting the continued fight against pediatric cancer—the leading cause of death by disease among children in the United States.

Through fundraisers and generous donations, EJKFCF helps fund clinical research focused on finding a cure for pediatric cancer and supports organizations that care for families navigating a childhood cancer diagnosis. 🇺🇸 A special focus of their mission is supporting U.S. military families whose children are undergoing pediatric cancer treatment.

❤️ Wrapping Up an Amazing Month with Lorton Community Action Center!

As we close out the month, we want to thank everyone who helped us support the Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC)! Your likes, comments, shares, and follows helped us give back to an organization that does so much for our local community. 🏡❤️

Since 1975, LCAC has worked to improve the quality of life for individuals and families throughout southeast Fairfax County by providing food assistance, emergency financial support, seasonal programs, education and workforce development, health and wellness resources, and so much more.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with LCAC and help support their mission of creating long-term stability and self-sufficiency for our neighbors.

This month, we are spotlighting Peabody & Theodore from the Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter! Peabody & Theodore are a bonded pair of 3-year-old guinea pigs looking for their forever home! 🐹

Peabody is a black & white sweetheart with a gentle personality, while Theodore shows off his handsome black, brown, and white markings and has an equally lovable nature! 🤍
