After 20 plus years of serving the Longview community, MSB Money Stop will be permanently closing our doors. Friday, February 20th will be our last day of business.

We want to say thank you so very much for your business and support. We will miss our customers and pray blessings on each of you.

With new financial technologies come struggles for check cashers. Although many people use our bill pay business, our income has not been sufficient to pay our own bills. We have truly tried to make this a viable business for as long as we could.

Again, seeing, serving, and working with our customers are what has made this decision the most difficult.

Our desire is to continue to serve our community from our store at the corner of High St and Nelson St. If you have been a customer at our Pine Tree store or in Marshall, please come see us so we can still help with your money service needs.

Marshall customers

City offices (including City Hall, Municipal Court, Water Billing, Convenience Station, Library, and Convention Center) will be closed TUESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2024 due to the winter weather. Staff will monitor road conditions and weather to determine status for Wednesday.

Republic Services has cancelled trash services for Tuesday, January 16 as well as this week's recycling pick up. Collection days are now scheduled for Wednesday-Saturday, January 17-20 as follows:

▪ Tuesday route on Wednesday
▪ Thursday and Friday route as scheduled
▪ Monday route on Saturday
▪ NO recycling this week

⚠️ Trash and Recycling Collection Update ⚠️

Trash and recycling collection for the City of Longview will now be shifted two days the week of Monday, Jan. 15, due to winter weather and the temporary closure of the Pine Hill Landfill.

The adjusted schedule will be as follows:
◦ Monday Customers -> Wednesday Collection
◦ Tuesday Customers -> Thursday Collection
◦ Wednesday Customers -> Friday Collection
◦ Thursday Customers -> Saturday Collection

Trash and recycling collection for the City of Longview will be shifted one day the week of Monday, Jan. 15, due to winter weather and the temporary closure of the Pine Hill Landfill.

Collections normally scheduled for Monday are currently scheduled to be collected on Tuesday, Jan. 16, Tuesday collections will occur on Wednesday, Jan. 17, and the pattern will continue through the week.

Bulky item pickup will not be available until Wednesday, Jan. 17.
