Lateefah Pruitt with State Realty I believe in honesty & perseverance. No one is going to work harder for you than me. I am the KEY! She served as Freshman Class President.

Lateefah Pruitt is a native of Longview who has represented Longview as Miss Longview, Miss Homecoming Queen and Miss Lobo. This alone shows her leadership qualities and that she loves dealing with people. After receiving an academic scholarship with the Frederick Douglas Honor’s Program at Texas Southern University she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Upon graduating Lateefah Worked in the Entertainment Industry working with stars such as Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Solange and so many more. She then transitioned to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Georgia State University as a film video student, and later went on to work with Will Packer of Rain Forest Films; and Tyler Perry. When starting a family Lateefah returned to Longview to join her family business in real estate. She always jokes that even though she has been licensed since 2006, that she has been in real estate her whole life.
“Real estate is my passion! It has definitely changed over the years. I remember having to help type contracts with a typewriter and having to answer the phone and checking the paper every day to see what was new on the market. In these days people rarely read the paper and rely on the internet so seeing how advanced technology has brought this field has been an exciting journey. Lateefah believes in honesty and perseverance. Working in the entertainment business gives you an edge because you are taught to think and do the impossible. “My clients come to me with a vision and it is my job to provide that and more. Currently Lateefah serves as Secretary for the Longview Metro Chamber of Commerce. She also sponsors and presents an annual Future CEO Camp. Future CEO’s gathers youth in the community and give them interview exercises, ethical training , motivational speakers and information on how to enter different fields. She is also a local poet.

I want to hear from you!
How do you deal with people who once they receive your help try to tear you down?
It seems sometimes, the more discernment you pray for the more obstacles come your way in order to decipher it.

What do you do to stay encouraged?
How do you deal with that situation if someone else comes along as well?

These days are a bit more different because there’s so many scams and people who are only trying to get over. Either way, let’s keep our heads up and continue to do the work!

🏡 WHAT YOU DON’T SEE BEHIND THE SOLD SIGN…

Being a Realtor isn’t just opening doors and taking pretty pictures. There’s a LOT that happens behind the scenes! 👀

📞 Early morning calls & client check-ins
📧 Emails, contracts & paperwork
🔎 Searching for the right properties
🏠 Showing homes—even when the weather isn’t cooperating
📊 Studying the market & pricing strategies
🤝 Negotiating to protect my clients’ best interests
📝 Writing offers & managing deadlines
🔑 Coordinating inspections, appraisals & closings
🚗 Lots of driving and LOTS of miles
❤️ And most importantly… being there for my clients every step of the way.

Some days are long. Some deals are challenging. Some moments require patience, persistence, and prayer.

But when I hand my client the keys and see that smile… it’s all worth it. 🗝️❤️

Real estate is more than a career to me. It’s service, dedication, and showing up—even when nobody sees the work.

There’s a reason State Realty has been in business for over 47 years. It’s because we are honest and we work hard for our clients as well as our community!

Let me assist you today, you won’t be disappointed!
