Greenlight Mortgage is hosting a come-and-go Christmas event at The Coop, and we’d love for you and your family to swing by.

🎅 Santa will be there for photos, so bring the kids and/or pets and let them soak up the magic.

No schedule, no pressure — just drop in anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 PM for some holiday cheer while helping us support Toys for Tots.

The experts are divided, but here’s what’s actually happening: prices here have stayed pretty steady, and inventory is growing, which means more choices for buyers but also longer days on market for sellers. Rising interest rates have slowed demand, but so far, East Texas is seeing resilience: especially compared to the big metro areas! Some spots have even seen an increase in property values in the past month.

But here’s the flip side: A 50-year mortgage means you’ll pay a LOT more in total interest over the life of your loan. It’ll also take way longer to build equity, and you could still be making house payments in your 70s or 80s!
