The August MBS Highway Housing Index just came out, and there’s one number that jumped off the page at me:
80% of mortgage professionals surveyed in the Southwest say we’re operating in a BUYER’S MARKET.
Yes, mortgage rates are higher than we’d like, but here’s the part buyers can’t afford to overlook:
When buyer activity slows, your negotiating power grows.
At EPIC Mortgage, we don't just ask, “What’s today’s rate?”
We ask: “How can we use TODAY’S market to put you in the strongest financial position?”
Waiting for rates to drop sounds great—until everyone else who has been waiting jumps back into the market with you.
You can refinance a mortgage if rates improve, you can not go back later and renegotiate what you paid for the house.
If you've been sitting on the sidelines in East Texas, this may be the time to at least run the numbers. 903-780-5505
