015. In 2017, I received the Certified Financial Planner® certification. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board’s requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards. In 2018, I earned a Master of Science degree in personal financial planning from the College for Financial Planning. Additionally, I have received the AAMS®, CRPC® and CRPS® professional designations from the College for Financial Planning and earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and French from the University of Colorado - Boulder. Originally from Virginia, I have lived in Longmont since 2007. I have been active in business and civic affairs in Longmont for many years. I am a member of the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce where I volunteer as an ambassador, as well as a member of Longmont Twin Peaks Rotary and Longmont Elks Lodge #1055.
