We are currently looking to fill a position here at our agency in Long Lake, MN!

We are looking for someone who is licensed in property and casualty insurance as well as life and health, but not required. If you are interested in the position, this is something we can help you obtain.

The position will entail processing transactions for our clients, analyzing their policies at renewal, other various related clerical work and sales. If you are self-motivated, this is definitely the position for you! It will ideally be someone who is looking for part time work that transitions in to full time in the fall of this year. Once full time, it will be regular week work days and business hours. No evenings. Primarily in office work, but flexibility in working from home on an as needed basis. Very flexible with schedules (family oriented!) and relaxed office setting. Compensation is negotiable upon experience.

We introduce to you our December teacher recipient of supplies, Ms. Rebekah Wagner-Minar! She is an Early Childhood Special Education teacher at Watertown-Mayer Primary School. When asked about her passion for teaching she says, "it stems back to my childhood and upbringing. Growing up with parents who were educators, I witnessed early on how dedication to teaching and those in your classroom can create a positive impact on children. Following in my parents footsteps, I strive to show and demonstrate that same passion I saw from them, to those who are currently in my classroom." We at Farmers Insurance thank you for the role model you are to our little learners!

Introducing Farmers' November recipient of supplies, Ms. Elissa Stoeckman! They are still boxed up in the photo, but she chose to get some Rolling files to help with organization. Elissa says "one of the main things that called me to the teaching profession was to be able to see the delight in the student's faces when they learned a new concept or idea. It has been amazing to see them grow over the years and to know that all educators had a small piece to play in their lives. Even though it may seem that they are only with us a short time in the Early Childhood and Elementary School years, those years are so vital. It is truly a profession that needs people with a servant's heart and patience."

We appreciate all you do, Elissa, in shaping our little learners.

Meet our September Recipient of School Supplies, Ms. Karilyn Pawelk. She is a Preschool Teacher at Watertown-Mayer Primary School. Her favorite part about teaching is watching how much they grow over the school year and getting to know each child so well. It amazes her to see how much confidence they gain in themselves as well and how strong of friendships they develop with their peers. She said she is "beyond grateful to all of my wonderful students and families!" I personally was able to watch her work her magic last year with students, along with Ms. Deb, as they were my son's teachers. They were wonderful! We provided some file folders, scissors and paper for the classroom. Thank you for all that you do with our little learners.

This post is a 2 for 1! We are showcasing both of our July and August classroom supply recipients. July's recipient is Michelle Hess, Site Supervisor of the Watertown-Mayer Kids' Company. Michelle loves "working with such a vast age group everyday." She says, "you never know what they are going to say or do next. I get to be a big kid everyday, play with toys, learn about sharing with friends, and show them the wonder of science while we get messy." We appreciate your genuine interest in children, Ms. Hess! August's recipient is Amy Dimmler, Watertown-Mayer Community Education Coordinator. She loves the opportunity to come to work everyday and work with families and kids of all ages. She says, "providing quality out-of-school time care is so important as youth need a save and secure environment they can go to when they are not at home. We have the opportunity to provide that opportunity and help shape our future and give parent & guardians a peace of mind knowing their children are safe and well cared for." Your dedication to our youth and their well being is admirable, Ms. Dimmler! They are photographed below with their new items. The 2018/2019 school year is just right around the corner, hopefully these items are useful!!
