The mission of EOPS is to identify and assist students who are affected by social, economic, educational, or language disadvantages.

🍂Transfer Overview Workshop with LBCC’s Transfer Center
This workshop will cover information about transfer admissions requirements, application tips, and LBCC transfer resources. Whether you just started college or are ready to apply to transfer, this is a great opportunity to learn about your options!

🍂What’s Your MBTI Personality Type? with LBCC’s Career Center
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to complete the MBTI personality assessment (free!) to help you identity your personality type, strengths, and preferences, discover how your personality influences the way you learn, communicate, and solve problems, and explore career paths!

We’re getting ready for a new semester, and we want to make sure our EOPS students have what they need to start strong! 💪🏽

✨ ALL EOPS students are eligible for an EOPS Supply Kit filled with academic supplies.

🎒 NEW EOPS students with a completed EOPS Educational Plan can also pick up an EOPS Backpack filled with academic supplies!

📚 Classes start August 31st! don’t wait until the last minute!

Swing by the EOPS CARE office, pick up your supplies, and get connected to the resources available to you. ❤️

📣Attention LBCC Vikings! Our EOPS application is now open for Fall 2026! If you are an eligible student, you will have access to the EOPS application on your Viking Student System. Click the “Task” tile in your Viking Student System to access the application.

As a gentle reminder, to be a fully matriculated student, you need to complete the following steps:

✅Complete the EOPS Application
✅Submit any missing documents, if applicable (transcripts from other colleges, ¾ Time Waiver, DSPS Reduced Load Letter)
✅Complete the EOPS New Student Orientation
✅Complete an Educational Plan Counseling Appointment with an EOPS counselor

Space is extremely limited! Please apply and complete the matriculation steps as soon as possible to receive all the benefits EOPS has to offer✨✨✨
