As hail repair crews start coming into town, please be cautious of mobile PDR companies advertising themselves as “local.” Many of these businesses are traveling storm-chasing crews and are not actually local to our community.

You may also see ads promising to “save your deductible” or offer repairs at extremely low costs. Unfortunately, these deals often result in shortcut repairs and poor workmanship that can lead to bigger, more expensive problems later. After the last major hail storm, we repaired several vehicles that had previously been worked on by these temporary companies.

We encourage everyone to do their research before trusting someone with their vehicle. If you have questions about hail damage repairs, insurance claims, or estimates, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We've said it over and over again and it's getting that time of the day/evening that things are starting to change for the worse in the City of Llano as far as driving conditions go. It's SLICK and we implore upon you all to PLEASE stay off the road.

Just over the last couple of hours, we've had vehicles stuck on hills that needed a pull. We've had vehicles that had to stop and couldn't get going again. It's getting to the point that if you try to stop your vehicle, you're probably not going to be able to do that either.

We couldn't be more serious when we ask you to please stay home and off the roads. It's very dangerous...we don't want you getting hurt and we don't want you in a position where you could hurt someone else.

It bears mentioning that emergency services are going to have delayed responses because of the driving conditions as well. Priority calls will always take precedence, of course, but even those calls might take longer than usual. We, along with Fire and EMS have to slow down on the ice so we make sure that we get to you...if we crash, we can't help you. Please help us by Staying Home and Staying Safe.

Thanks for your attention to this matter and, by the way, if you think it's smart to do donuts in the big parking lot, don't call us unless you're upside down, trapped, or on fire. You're on your own as far as any other stuff goes, you know like sliding into a light pole or something, because you should have "Stayed Home and Stayed Safe!" 😜😝😜
