Curious about what the new Medicare GLP1 Bridge system is and how it can help get you coverage? Here’s some key points that you need to know:

- The program starts July 1st, 2026 and runs through December 31st, 2027

- This is a temporary program that works alongside your Medicare Part D, but doesn’t count towards your Part D deductible.

- It’s meant for people who do not already qualify for GLP1 coverage under Medicare.

- If you qualify, your co-pay is fixed at $50 a month, which is a huge savings on an expensive medication.

- You’ll need to coordinate with your doctor to determine if you’re eligible to enroll in the program. Only your doctor can initiate the process, not your insurance company or your broker.

Thinking about skipping boat insurance this season? Let's clear up a few myths first.

Myth 1: My homeowners policy covers my boat.
Most homeowners policies offer little to no coverage for boats. A dedicated boat policy is the only way to make sure you're properly protected.

Myth 2: Boat insurance is only necessary on the water.
Accidents happen in storage, in your driveway, and on the highway too. A good boat policy covers your watercraft year-round.

Myth 3: Liability coverage isn't necessary on a boat.
If you're involved in an accident that injures someone or damages someone’s property, you could be held personally responsible. Liability coverage on a boat policy is just as important as it is on your auto policy.

"Open Enrollment Checklist
Everything You Need Before You Pick a Plan"

Have your tax return handy. Know your household size, income, and ages. This determines subsidy eligibility — and it matters more than people realize.

Before comparing plans, know which doctors and specialists you need in-network. A cheaper plan that doesn't cover your doctor costs more in the long run.

Big procedure coming up? Managing a chronic condition? Or mostly healthy? Your expected usage affects whether a lower premium + higher deductible makes sense.

Monthly premium + deductible + out-of-pocket max = your real annual exposure. Samantha helps you run this math for every option.

Samantha helps you narrow down from 50+ Michigan plans to the 3-4 that actually fit your life. No cost. No pressure. Real guidance.

Open Enrollment moves fast.

Turning 65 but still working? You’re not alone, and you may have more flexibility than you think when it comes to health coverage.

If you have a plan through your current employer (or your spouse’s employer) and that employer has 20 or more employees, you can generally delay Medicare without a late penalty. When you eventually retire or lose that employer coverage, you’ll have an 8-month Special Enrollment Period to sign up for Medicare.

If your employer has fewer than 20 employees, Medicare typically becomes your primary insurance at 65, regardless of your employer coverage. In that case, it’s especially important to enroll on time.

Not sure how your situation fits? Reach out or drop a question in the comments. This is one of the most common things we help people navigate!

It’s no secret—Michigan has some of the highest auto insurance rates in the country. But why is our state so uniquely expensive, and what can you actually do about it?

It all boils down to our "No-Fault" insurance system. In Michigan, regardless of who causes an accident, your own insurance provider handles your medical and damage claims first, leaving the companies to sort out the details behind the scenes. On top of that, our Personal Injury Protection (PIP) laws used to require everyone to carry unlimited medical coverage.

Today, you actually have choices—six different PIP tiers, to be exact! Because there is so much nuance to these options, many drivers are still paying for coverage they might not even need.

Let’s take a look at your policy and see if we can optimize your choices to lower that premium. Send us a message or click the link in our bio to get started!
