I recently had the opportunity to help assist first-time home buyers Lanice and Ariel. I want to give a special shout-out to their incredible realtors, Cristina Bailey - Exp Realty and Darrin Fendley - Good Company Realty, for their hard work and continued dedication.

I also attended an enlightening educational breakfast seminar sponsored by LMCU, hosted by the Fair Housing Center in Ann Arbor. It was a great experience that highlighted the importance of fair housing practices.

Additionally, I was honored to attend an event celebrating the achievements of my amazing colleague, Steve Kik.

Each of these experiences has just reinforced my commitment to supporting our communities and enhancing home ownership opportunities.

September has truly been a remarkable month for my clients. It’s rewarding to witness the last five loans successfully close, all thanks to the LMCU HomeAssist Down Payment Assistance Grant. I deeply value every chance I get to assist my clients in their journey. I also want to express my gratitude to the exceptional real estate agents I collaborate with; your strong communication and expertise significantly enhance every purchase experience. This year has been filled with incredible opportunities to give back to the community through various volunteer efforts. I participated in clean-up initiatives at the Methodist Children's Home Society Family of Services, where we worked hard to create a better environment for the children and families served by the organization. Additionally, I contributed to food preparation at Gleaners Food Bank, helping to ensure that those in need have access to nutritious meals. Another memorable experience was at a block party organized by MCHS, where I assisted children in gathering back-to-school supplies, making a positive impact on their educational journey. Furthermore, we collaborated with Community Housing Network to gain insights into their valuable programs designed to support the community. Each experience has enriched my understanding of community service and the importance of lending a helping hand.

Lastly, It was truly a rewarding experience to be part of such a significant moment in Tyesha's life. Her journey to homeownership was filled with challenges, but her resilience and determination were inspiring. I feel privileged to have played a role in helping her achieve this dream. Congratulations, Tyesha! Here’s to new beginnings in your beautiful new home! A huge shout out to Shaunise Williams for outstanding real estate expertise.

Another successful closing has taken place, and I couldn't be happier for Adrienne as she embarks on her journey as a first-time homebuyer.
