’s these ranch-style homes are like the Apple Pie to America. The single-level homes and moodiest-sized lots made the perfect tract home with similar floor plans popping up all over the East Bay. This era (these homes included) is also when we start seeing the attached two-car garages for the first time as each head of the household needed and could afford their own transportation.
