It has been awhile, but I wanted to share a story with you and to thank you for being a great agent.
Recently my mom was the victim of a complex online identity theft and she lost a substantial amount of money. While that was difficult to learn about from her, my siblings and I were simply glad that she was not hurt outside of the financial loss and we have helped her to secure all of her other accounts and confidential information.
The reason I share this is that when I was back home visiting her and helping with things, I remembered back to a conversation that my wife and I had with you years ago when you explained every part of our homeowners insurance. You patiently answered all of our questions and gave us lots of very helpful information. At some point you mentioned that we have some identity theft or fraud protection. As I thought of that I mentioned it to my mom (she is under a different insurance company). She was doubtful but she decided to file a claim. Several weeks later she was awarded a good amount of money from her insurance company, nearly 1/3 of what she lost! In my eyes this is basically found money, as we did not expect to recover anything. Needless to say our family was very happy about this, and I wanted to share with you. I am a big believer that we oftentimes do not know the positive impact that we have on others, but because you do your job so well and explained to my wife and I the full extent of our insurance policy, I was able to use that knowledge to make a suggestion to my mom, which in turn led to some very good news when she really needed it.
