I thoroughly enjoyed my visit last Friday to the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. It was truly an honor to serve as the featured speaker for the P3 Professional Development Program. The students were attentive and engaged, which made the experience especially rewarding.

After a recent quintuple (that’s five — I had to look it up!) heart bypass surgery, I’m grateful to be back on the road spreading the message of financial literacy. The doctors fixed the plumbing, so now it’s time to get back to work. ❤️

It feels great to be back.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking with pharmacy students at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Pharmacy. A special thanks to P3 pharmacy student Jack Satori for the invitation and for being such a great host.
Also, a special thanks to Dr. Heather Lyons-Burney, Clinical Associate Professor at University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Pharmacy–Springfield, and it was great reconnecting with Dr. Paul Gubbins, Professor and Associate Dean with the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Pharmacy at Missouri State University.
And of course, no visit would be complete without giving away a few copies of my book, Start Smart, Finish Rich!. Helping students get a head start on managing money before their careers begin is always time well spent.

It was a pleasure to host Dr. Connie Wilson, Vice President of Advancement at Southern Arkansas University, in our home this past Thursday. We enjoyed catching up and hearing the latest SAU updates.
