ATTENTION SENIORS, SENIOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS & UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS,
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens TOMORROW! Have you & your parents created an account? If not please do so at this time!
Your child cannot receive federal aid and certain scholarships without this application.
Step 1. STUDENT- Create your account using your personal email address (You’ll need your username and password for all four years)
Step 2. PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN- Create your account using your personal email address (You’ll need your username and password for all four years that your child/children are in school)
Step 3. Write down your Username and Password (Please use something difficult!!!Please do not use the SAME Password that you use for everything else) Your social security number will be attached to this account!
Step 4. Apply on Thursday, December 1, 2023 (Seniors) Complete the entire application in one sitting (20-25 minutes)
Step 5. Have your Tax information ready to add manually or you have the option to transfer data electronically so directly from the IRS.
***The FAFSA will still request tax information from the prior-prior year, which means you'll report 2022 income and assets on your 2024-25 application.
Step 5. Choose Work study (It’s first come first serve but it helps with extra expenses while your child is in college)
