Today is the last day to make HSA contributions for the prior tax year.

✅ You can still fund your HSA for last year if you’re eligible
✅ Contributions must be made by April 15 — filing a tax extension does not extend this deadline
✅ Prior‑year HSA contributions can still lower your taxable income
✅ Miss today, and those dollars can only count toward the current year

If you’re eligible and haven’t maxed out your HSA yet, this is your final chance to do so for last year.

Having an HSA comes with a lot of perks. Some of those - like tax-free contributions - are impacted when you have a change in coverage status.

If you change insurance coverage from Individual to Family (or vice versa) status, your annual contribution limit changes. And this could have an effect on your taxes.
