Stop for school buses: It's the law.

Minnesota recently revised legislation clarifying that drivers must stop 20 feet from a school bus when red lights are flashing, the previous statute required drivers to stop when red lights are flashing and the stop arm extended. The stop arm language has been removed altogether. See amended statute below:

What an exciting night for the Marshik Agency and Morrison County United Way! MCUW was awarded the Spirit of the Silver Lining award from West Bend Insurance Company. They are one of two recipients of all non-profits nominated in the state of Minnesota for 2025. The $5,000 grant will stay right here in Morrison County benefitting the Tools For Schools program which provides school supplies for children in need in Little Falls, Randall, Royalton, Swanville, and Pierz schools.

Today is the day! Our commercial insurance extraordinaire, Denise Czech, is retiring after 35 years with the Marshik Agency. Denise started at Marshik in 1985, she worked several years at Larson Boats in the early 90's, and has been here consecutively since 1994.

Denise, we will miss your many years of knowledge, your unmatched baked goods, but most of all your joyful presence in the office each day. On behalf of the many clients and colleagues that were lucky enough to work with you throughout the years - thank you for everything. We wish you all the best in your retirement!
