For the past two months my bill has been unusually high. I don’t know why (it must have been the Holy Spirit), but I just took a second to just walk around my home quietly. That’s when I noticed that I had many different things plugged in that I wasn’t using and some things I NEVER used since I moved into this house. 😱These things are known as “energy snakes” 🐍 ; they sneakily use up wattage and drain the energy in your home contributing to a unnecessarily high power bill.

The same thing goes for your life. Get quiet, and assess the things in your life that are taking from your energy but not even serving you. Yes, I did have to pay the bill for those past two months just like we have to “pay” when we allow things in our life that have no purpose but to drain us. The good news is my future bill is significantly lower know that I’ve unplugged all of these things.

It is better to be willing to do the work (even when we still have to pay the price for our decisions) so that our future can be better.
