Stay sky aware this afternoon friends. I did a little bit of research and found that the highest wind speed recorded in litchfield was 115 mph. The date was July 11th 2016. With the storm coming this afternoon from the west it is predicted we will receive wind speeds in excess of 100mph. Take the time to prepare now. Put your vehicles in a safe location, secure your loose personal belongings that may be swept away by the wind. Take a look at the trees in your yard and be aware of where they might fall. Our ground is pretty saturated, this might shape up to be a big mess. Help your neighbors who are elderly or unable to prepare. Stay safe friends.
