🏡 Self-employed or 1099? Buying a home may be more possible than you think.
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is: “I’m self-employed, so getting a mortgage is going to be impossible.”
Not necessarily. We have loan options designed for borrowers whose income doesn’t fit neatly into the traditional W-2 box.
Depending on the situation, we may be able to qualify borrowers using things like:
✅ Bank statements
✅ 1099 income
✅ Profit & loss statements
✅ Alternative income documentation
If you're a business owner, independent contractor, consultant, freelancer, or 1099 employee, don't assume you can't qualify just because your tax returns don't tell the whole story.
