⛳️ Some days on the golf course are about much more than golf, and today was one of those days!

My agency was proud to be one of the sponsors of a golf tournament for Linn High School Wildcats baseball and softball teams.

I was especially fortunate to spend the day with three people who have played very different, but very important, roles in my life.

Standing to my right is my son, Connor. Next to him is Ryan Rost, whose family lived next door to Carla and me when we purchased our first home 28 years ago. Ryan eventually became Connor’s high school golf coach during his senior year at Linn R2.

To my left is Brad Struttmann, a friend I’ve known for more than 40 years. Brad and I played on the golf team at Helias High School. Four decades later, we’re still teeing it up.

Carla and I have had the privilege of watching Connor and Ryan grow from kids into the amazing men they are today.

28 years of friendship with Ryan and his family.
40+ years of friendship with Brad.
Two different State qualifying golf teams.
A father and son.
A coach and his former player.
And one very special day on the golf course.

I’m grateful for this day, grateful for these guys, and grateful to be part of such a great community.
