Today is Indigenous Peoples Day, a day that feels especially meaningful as Cherokee ancestry is a small piece of my own family history.

Today is a wonderful opportunity to learn something new and celebrate the rich histories, traditions, and vibrant cultures of Native Americans; including the many contributions that continue to shape our communities today.
