August 3rd…
Every year this date weighs heavy on my heart.
Today marks the day I lost my best friend, my hero, my mentor… my Pops, Ben Huss.
People see Rowe Bail Bonds. They see the videos, the captures, the long nights, the successes, and the business we’ve built. What most people don’t see is the man who helped shape the person behind it all.
Ben believed in me before I believed in myself. He taught me this business the right way. He taught me that your word means something, that you answer the phone no matter what time it is, that you treat people with respect, and that you stay humble enough to handle the small bonds because that’s what earns the big ones.
Everything I do today carries a piece of him. Every client I help, every fugitive I bring in, and every lesson I pass on to someone else is because of what he poured into me. His legacy lives on through the work I do every single day.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think about our conversations or wish I could call you just one more time.
Today is also a reminder that su***de doesn’t just take one life—it changes the lives of everyone left behind. If you’re struggling, please don’t suffer in silence. There are people who care, people who will listen, and people who want to help.
If you or someone you know is having a hard time, please reach out. Call or text 988. One conversation can make all the difference.
Let’s continue to break the stigma surrounding mental health. Check on your friends. Check on your family. Sometimes the strongest people are fighting the hardest battles behind closed doors.
I hope I’ve made you proud, Pops. I promise to keep carrying the torch, doing things the right way, and living by the values you instilled in me.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Until we meet again, Ben. I love you, I miss you, and your legacy lives on through me. ❤️
