Our local RMF team continued our tradition of supporting Sun City Lincoln Hills and the broader community by signing up as a "Warbird" sponsor at the Lincoln Airport Open House this month.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous as an estimated 4-5,000 guest visited the tarmac for a day of fun and education. There were static aircraft displays, a hot air balloon, aerial demonstrations, information booths, food, and restored cars and hotrods to view.

The net funding from this event will go to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Youth Flight Scholarship Program. Thad's an Air Force vet, so standing on the tarmac with a slight waft of jet fuel brought back memories!

We've been a part of Sun City Lincoln Hills semi-annual event for years and years and have had a full-page ad in the community's Compass magazine for almost as long. It was great to participate again!

We made sure to have plenty of chocolate on hand since the fall iteration tends to be a bit of early trick-or-treating for the 'kids-at-heart' here in Lincoln Hills! We met new people, saw clients and friends, and reconnected with Realtors, estate attorneys, financial advisors and other professionals who are deeply ingrained in this wonderful community.

The RMF Lincoln team hosted two lunch seminars at the lodge in . We have spent a lot of time at the lodge these past two weeks!

Thad Stanley conducted the seminars and Hank Rhoads contributed examples and stories from his nearly two decades in the reverse mortgage industry. We covered some reverse mortgage basic concepts and answered audience questions.

We spent quite a bit of time explaining the unique features of the reverse mortgage line of credit, which has been a hot topic in the current economic environment. Meridians Restaurant at the lodge did a very nice job hosting us in the solarium!
