Meet Jared Blackwood!

Jared’s journey in insurance started in 2011 at Bain Agency, Inc, which he purchased in 2018. In 2021, he co-founded Bridgemark Insurance Solutions—expanding across South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska—before merging with INSight Partners in 2025, where he serves as COO.

Beyond his agency leadership, Jared has dedicated years to serving the industry through the Independent Insurance Agents of ND and IIABA and was honored with the Big "I" Chairman’s Award for distinguished service in 2025.

Outside of work, Jared loves spending time with his wife and three kids, golfing, hunting, or fishing.

📢 We’re Hiring: Benefits Client Manager | Lincoln/Omaha Area

We’re looking for an experienced Benefits Client Manager to join our growing team in the Lincoln/Omaha area!

In this role, you’ll serve as a primary service contact for a book of benefits clients, providing guidance, support, and exceptional service throughout the plan year. You’ll work closely with Benefits Risk Advisors, carrier partners, and internal teams to manage:
• Renewals and enrollment
• Quoting and benefit administration
• Claims support and carrier communication
• Client follow-up and ongoing service needs

The primary focus is group benefits, with opportunities to expand your knowledge in Individual Medical, ACA Marketplace, and Medicare as the department grows.
