🎉 Surprise!! 🎉 We're having a *pop-up* kitten 🐱 adoption and ice cream 🍦event at the shelter this weekend!

Why?! Because we've got about 40 kittens in foster who are waiting to go home with YOU!!!

This is a great safety guide for children swimming in lakes and swimming pools. The color of the bathing suit can make it easier or more difficult to see children while they are swimming. This is a good reminder to always have adult supervision when children are swimming. (Thanks to Praire Lakes Healthcare System.)

Back to school photos often reveal personal information about your child. School name, grade, age, and identifying features, etc. - these can all be used by predators and scammers.

No matter your privacy setting or friends, it’s best to keep personal information to a minimum.

A few great ways to help the community right now during the fire.

URGENT ASK and please, SHARE! ❤️

We're in fire prep mode because so many neighboring communities have already reached out for help. We'll keep you updated on our social pages, but for now, here's what we ask:

1. Adopt! Help us clear the shelter to increase space. We're adopting kittens (including Talia, pictured here) at Pet Food Express Saturday, plus at our shelter and Marketplace. See the cats, locations, and hours here: https://fieldhaven.com/adopt/adoptable-cats/
2. Foster, especially if you can help with medical needs (those needing insulin, special diets, basic care, etc.), single pet only homes, and kittens. 3. Donate supplies. We'll be helping families who are displaced and stocking up our fosters. Supplies go quickly, and we are low right now.
