🎉 There’s never been a better time to support pets in need than during Give To Lincoln Day! As a bonus, American Life is helping to make a difference for the pets in our care by serving as our matching sponsor between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Meet Indigo! She came into the shelter as a 2-year-old kitty who would make frequent visits to the litter box and was often seen straining to urinate. An ultrasound of her bladder revealed her problem… very large bladder stones!

Our veterinary team surgically removed the bladder stones to prevent pain/suffering and to prevent more serious consequences such as urinary obstruction or bladder rupture.

Indigo has recovered well from surgery and was adopted in April!
