We attended this year’s Empty Bowls Luncheon hosted by the Food Bank of Lincoln, alongside more than 1,000 people from across our community.

We enjoyed soup from local vendors and took home handcrafted bowls—a simple reminder of the many bowls that have been filled, and the many more still needing to be filled for the 69,750 neighbors in Southeast Nebraska experiencing food insecurity.
