💚 Another year, another house transformed! 🏡

Last Friday, West Gate Bank volunteers from Omaha and Lincoln joined Project Houseworks for the annual Brush Up event. Alongside hundreds of fellow volunteers, our team spent the day painting a local home, helping refresh its appearance and preserve it for years to come.

We're grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors and proud of the employees who braved the heat to make a lasting impact. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference! 🖌️

After nearly 14 years with West Gate Bank, we're celebrating a teammate who has made a lasting impact on our organization and the people around her. We would like to congratulate Kelly from our Human Resources Department on a well-deserved retirement.

As Kelly begins this exciting new chapter, we asked her to reflect on her time at West Gate Bank:

💚 Favorite memory:
"One of my favorite memories was attending the new hire breakfast and meeting our President/CEO/Owner, who took the time to genuinely engage with each and every one of us. His personal connection made a lasting impression on me and truly set the tone for my journey with the organization."

💚 What will you miss most?
"The people. They are all unique with their own special talents. What a wonderful group of humans!"

💚 What are you most proud of?
"Being recognized for the talents and strengths I brought to the organization. I was encouraged to step into a development role; one I have had the privilege of growing in for the past four years. Seeing the team members I mentored find success is also something very dear to my heart."

💚 First thing on your retirement bucket list?
"Waking up when I'm ready and soaking in some sun while drinking my tea on my east-facing deck."

💚 What are you most looking forward to in this next chapter?
"Spending time with my husband and finding gratitude for the small things."
