Congress is at a critical decision point for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.

The U.S. House has passed a three-year extension of the enhanced premium tax credits (EPTCs) that have helped millions of Americans afford health coverage. Now, the Senate must act, and your voice is urgently needed.

Licensed agents and brokers are on the front lines every day, helping individuals and families navigate rising health care costs. We see firsthand what happens when affordability protections disappear.

We urge the Senate to take the following actions:
1. Extend Enhanced Premium Tax Credits for at Least Two Years
2. Create a 90-Day Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
If Congress extends subsidies after Open Enrollment has ended, many consumers will be locked out of coverage unless an SEP is created.
3. Avoid a Hard Income Cliff and Provide a Gradual Off-Ramp
A gradual phase-down tied to a reasonable percentage of household income voids the affordability shocks, especially in high-premium states.
4. Work with Agents and Brokers on Bipartisan Cost-Lowering Solutions

While broader health system reforms can be debated separately, Americans should not lose access to affordable coverage while those discussions continue.

OPERATION SHOUT: Protect Marketplace Clients from Massive Premium Increases
