Glass coverage may help repair or replace your windshield, depending on your policy. Keep in mind, glass damage is considered a claim and may be subject to your policy terms and deductible.

With newer vehicles, windshield replacement can be more expensive because vehicles with front crash detection and other safety features may require recalibration after the windshield is replaced.
