I have $187,000 of life insurance on myself.
Some people will say that’s not enough. Others might say it’s more than they have. The number isn’t really the point.
I’m 32. No wife. No kids. No mortgage.
People often think life insurance is only for parents or homeowners. But the reality is, none of us gets to decide when our story ends. Age doesn’t make anyone immune to the unexpected.
Too often, we see families turning to GoFundMe or Facebook fundraisers to cover funeral expenses after a tragedy. While it’s incredible to see communities come together, those platforms were never meant to replace a plan.
The biggest investment you’ll ever make is in yourself. Protecting yourself isn’t about expecting the worst—it’s about caring enough to prepare for it.
It’s not a comfortable conversation, but it’s an important one.
