A slightly delayed ✨Employee Spotlight✨ - last but not least!!

Meet our Client Success Rep, Laikyn Graf. Laikyn joined the team in October 2023 and was a referral from her sister and our very own, Brit. Having a sister duo in the office has been fun and often times our customers aren’t sure which one they are talking to! While Laikyn is usually doing the service work for our office, she is also able to quote and write your home/renters and auto insurance.

“I am from small town Kenesaw, Nebraska, but found my way to Lincoln 10 years ago to attend the University of Nebraska, where I graduated with my Bachelor’s in 2018. I met my husband, Trey, here in Lincoln and together we have a one year old, Riggs. In our free time, we enjoy spending time with our dogs, doing all things outdoors when Nebraska weather allows, attending country music concerts, and showing Riggs all life has to offer.”

February is Heart Month and February 7-14 is CHD (Congenital Heart Defect) Awareness Week. Our very own Laikyn’s son, Riggs, was born with a congenital heart defect in January 2023 and spent 3 months at Children’s Hospital recovering from open heart surgery. Today we are sporting our shirts to bring awareness to the 1 in 100 children who are born with a CHD. 🫀

Meet our Multi Line Representative, Kirby Killion. Kirby joined the team in June of this year after leaving his 11 year teaching career. He has been a sales force for us and has helped boost office morale. Fun fact about Kirby - hates coffee, enjoys tea!!

“I am from Grand Island, NE, where I grew up playing sports and running around with friends. I moved to Lincoln for college and fell in love with the town. I studied Math Education and became a teacher at Bryan Community Focus Program where I taught Math and PE for 11 years. I met my wife Molly in 2014 and we got married in 2018. We have two kids, Fletcher who is 2 and Jovie who was born in September. I decided to make a career change this summer and have joined the team at Jake Haifley State Farm. I enjoy golfing, cooking and watching the Huskers!”

“I grew up in Hastings, NE. I went to college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In 2018, I decided to make Lincoln home with my two beautiful children, Lucy and Crew and our Shiba Inu, Pretzel. I have been working in customer relations for ten years and have very much enjoyed getting to know our customers at Jake Haifley State Farm over the past four years. When I am not at the office, you can find me spending time with my family, online shopping or at the gym.”
