There is still time to help my friend, mom of 8 & new home owner (1st time) close out 2025 my with a smile & some peace. 3 of her children are special needs & the home shevbought on Il has a well & tank that literally died the day of closing - after she got the keys. They could not move in for more than 30 days. I would love to make her new year bright but we can't do it alone. The repair cost $4,000. We collected $200. Any small amount will help. Happy 4th of July! Since I was a little girl growing up in the City of Des Plaines I always loved July 4th. I think it is the parades, picnics, fireworks, getting together with friends & family, maybe just the traditions associated with the 4th that make me love it so much. Later I carried on the traditions with my girls/ Dr. Jordan Leasure B.A., D.C., C.C.W.P. & Dr. Jade Dellinger, DC, CACCP. We celebrated in MainStreet Libertyville & often at Sanibel Island Beach Resort where back in the day you could spread a blanket on the green at the golf course (REALLY!) & watch fireworks! We ate our fill of deviled eggs, hot dogs, burgers & smores while twirling sparklers under the stars. Today's post is coming to you from my deck in Libertyville where I will have a quieter (possibly wet) 4th but still celebrating in spite of a broken leg. I have a lot to be thankful for this 4th. I love my family, my job, my friends, clients who really are friends & my ability to still celebrate the hell out of this great day! Wishing you all a wonderful July 4th! weekend!
