Most people are aware of bundling multiple insurance polices aka (home,auto,umbrella,life etc) at one company to recieve discounts and save. If you weren’t know you know.

A BIG one to take advantage of especially if you are a young husband or wife with a family is Life Insurance. Take advantage while you are young and rates are low. Being young, healthy and no prior or current major health conditions I can typically expect to see a 20 year locked in term for a $500,000 death benefit for about $350 ish a year or $29 ish a month averagely for my people.

Life insurance is not an exciting thing anyone wants to think about, but it’s a reality we all must face if you don’t have it I encourage you to ask your current insurance agent/ shop around to try and find a good competitive rate. Not only will you be able to bundle with home and auto and save on monthly premium rates you can rest easy knowing your family won’t be out to dry losing your household income.

*As you advance there are all sorts of cool things you can do with life insurance & Annuities as an investments that pay out when you are still living and they grow tax deferred, you can take money out of whole life policies as personal loans and more etc. Fun stuff I know 🙂. Have a good day.

- Increasing Your Deductibles: Raising your deductibles can lower your monthly premiums quite a lot. Just make sure you have enough savings to cover the higher deductibles when needed.

- If you can & you have enough liquid cash to insure yourself for 80% of incidents that may happen to you and save insurance claims for the BIG ones, it’s always good do to so. With insurance companies, you can make the claim and get paid out but they will get their money back in premium charges from you over time. So you have to weigh your options and think long term. 👍

Shop Around every 1-2 years:

Insurance rates change frequently, so compare quotes from different providers every year or two minimum to ensure you’re getting the best deal. I know it’s a hassle but trust it’s worth your time. 🙂
