Found this photo in my phone by accident this morning searching for something else. Halloween was always my brother’s favorite holiday. 🎃🧡 Since he’s been gone, it’s become mine, too. Maybe it’s my way of keeping a little piece of him alive and finding joy in something he loved so much.

So, naturally I have 20 totes of Halloween decor 😬 and absolutely no time to decorate. 😂🎃 Life has been moving at a million miles an hour, and I’m looking forward to slowing down this weekend, pulling out the pumpkins, and getting into the Halloween spirit.

Some traditions become even more meaningful when they’re tied to the people we miss most. 🧡👻

How do you build community? 💙

Strong communities don’t just happen. They’re built, one person, one act of kindness, and one connection at a time.

We saw this firsthand this summer when devastating wildfires impacted our region. Neighbors showed up for neighbors. People opened their homes, donated resources, delivered meals, and found ways to help complete strangers. In moments of uncertainty and loss, we were reminded of what community really looks like.

The simple answer?
Show up for people.

Show up when it’s easy, but especially when it’s hard. Support local organizations. Celebrate others’ successes. Lend a hand when you see a need. Make an introduction. Give your time. Be the person who brings people together rather than waiting for someone else to do it.

Because community isn’t just about where we live. It’s about how we care for one another.

Another wonderful Innovia event celebrating generosity and bringing together more than 400 local community builders who are making a difference right here at home. 💙

I’m grateful to be surrounded by people who understand that when we invest and support one another and other’s, we create something bigger than what we could build alone.

We build stronger communities when we choose to collectively show up, give back, and do life together.

Come walk the wandering paths of the pumpkin patch🎃, enjoy farm games♟️, find the perfect pumpkin to bring home (pay per pound rate), enjoy pizza by the slice🍕 and donuts🍩! MORE INFO BELOW...

FRIDAY ACTIVITIES⭐:
Fridays are free farm entry and an optional reduced farm fun wristband of $5 per person, 2 and under free, allows access to:
Corn maze🌽, leads you to the Castle🏰, and pirate ship playground⚓.

👉Plus, if we were able to get extra staff for the day (majority of our staff are students) then we'll try to open a tractor ride or a bouncy slide. But this is why we say limited attractions, and have that reduced wristband price, because we can't guarantee all attractions/rides will be open.🙏

FRIDAY VENDORS:
Majority of small business owners still have a day job or obligations during weekdays, so we find that most of the vendors are closed on Fridays. 🌟We do have Siemers Farm Castle Pizza and Donut Shack open for food, treats, and hard c***r on tap!🌟

Our produce tent will be open for pumpkins🎃, apples🍎, squash, onions🧅, and potatoes for purchase!🥔

Meet Elio ❤️🐾

He is the newest member of the Osborne family. Emily’s daughter Maya has been volunteering her time at a local shelter and just couldn’t stand leaving this little guy behind.

We love his little face and can’t wait to see him play and grow!
