Had a conversation with a new client today that had a substantial loss with their previous insurance company. They didn't know at the time that this particular loss would not be covered because no one told them. It is important to know and trust who you are working with gives you all the information you need. Be careful who you choose to represent you.

We had a client walk in with a competitor proposal today. The coverage looked like it was better than we had provided. However, looking at it closer the other agency had left off replacement cost coverage off of their property. This is a huge difference. Make sure you are working with an agent that will explain to you your coverages in detail before you buy it. Otherwise they are just going to justify YOUR decision AFTER you have a claim.

Feeling grateful to be part of a city that truly steps up in times of need.

Over the past week, we’ve worked with several clients impacted by flooding. One case in particular involved major debris removal challenges. When I asked if the city had been contacted for support, I learned that the Mayor, City Council, H-E-B, and other partners were already on the ground coordinating assistance.
