📢 Medicare Annual Enrollment is Almost Here!

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15 – December 7. This year, there are a lot of changes happening for Medicare Advantage plans in Lincoln County.

Some members will even receive letters in the mail letting them know that their current Medicare Advantage plan will no longer be offered in 2026.

👉 If you get a letter like that, don’t panic — you have options:

- You can move to another Medicare Advantage plan available in our county

- You may be able to move to a Medicare Supplement without medical underwriting

- In some cases, you may even be able to keep your current plan if you’re already enrolled

The key is to act quickly and review your choices so you don’t miss your enrollment window.

What happens if your Medicare Advantage Plan is No Longer Offered?

When your Advantage plan is no longer offered by an insurance company, it usually creates a Special Enrollment Period. This allows you to enroll in another Medicare Advantage plan or even move to a Medicare Supplement without medical underwriting.

You will not be automatically moved to another plan, and if you don’t act, you could be without a Medicare Advantage plan for 2025.
