I have absolutely loved spending the last two days at Royal Springs Middle School in Scott County serving as a judge for the 8th Grade Gateway presentations! This project is such a meaningful milestone, as it truly reflects all the hard work and growth students have experienced throughout middle school as they prepare to transition into high school.

Tonight, I’m excited to be set up at the 8th Grade Student Showcase alongside other amazing community organizations, sharing information about KEES money 💰, college savings, and financial aid with families. It’s so special getting to see these students proudly present their projects to their parents and community, it’s a full-circle moment for all they’ve accomplished.

What a great week celebrating student success and helping families start thinking ahead to the future! 🎓✨

Thrilled to be spending the day at the EKY Green Dot Expo in Prestonsburg!

Green Dot is doing incredible work across Eastern Kentucky; empowering teens to care for their mind, body, and soul while building confidence in who they are and where they’re headed. Through meaningful support and guidance, they’re helping students across participating counties grow, succeed, and pursue their goals for the future.
