📣 Medicare Open Enrollment starts TODAY!

There are changes coming for 2027, so take a few minutes to review your coverage before keeping the same plan.

💊 The annual out of pocket limit for covered Part D prescriptions increases from $2,100 to $2,400.

💵 The maximum Part D deductible increases from $615 to $700. Your plan may have a lower deductible.

✅ Medicare negotiated prices for 15 additional prescription drugs take effect January 1.

Your plan’s premiums, copays, covered medications, and provider network also deserve a closer look. The plan that worked for you this year may fit differently next year.

Last week, Tom had the opportunity to do something we genuinely love: educate right here in our own community.

A room full of neighbors and local business owners came together to learn more about a topic that can raise a lot of questions as retirement approaches: taxes in retirement.

We spent the morning talking through topics like:

• How Social Security can be taxed
• How income can affect Medicare costs
• Understanding the potential tax impact when withdrawing money from different types of retirement accounts
• What to consider when inheriting retirement accounts and other assets

Our goal with seminars like this isn’t for you to walk away knowing everything. It’s to open your eyes to the questions worth asking and the hurdles worth preparing for before you encounter them.

Because when it comes to retirement, understanding how all the pieces of your financial picture work together can help you make more informed decisions about what comes next.
