You follow them online, now come and meet them in person at this year’s N.C. State Fair. This year, we are bringing four local social media personalities to the Dorton Arena stage to meet and greet with their fans. Stop by on your fair visit to meet them and snap a picture!
Friday, Oct 16: Heather Leah explores Hidden History & Abandoned Places in North Carolina — ghost towns, lost graveyards, underground tunnels, mysterious castles and other stories not often found in mainstream history books. At the fair she will speak about the history of the N.C. State Fair.
Monday, Oct. 19: Ethan Clark created North Carolina's Weather Authority when he was in 7th grade. Driven by a passion and immense interest in weather, he saw this as a great opportunity to learn more about weather and serve the people of North Carolina. Since its creation in 2016, North Carolina's Weather Authority has built a large following from all 100 counties in North Carolina!
Tuesday, Oct. 20: Will Brinkley is a first-generation row crop farmer and the owner of Double S Farm in the Arcadia/Lexington area of Davidson County, North Carolina. He is widely recognized online as the "Tarheel Farmer," an agricultural influencer with nearly half a million followers on social media.
Wednesday, Oct. 21: The Chubbybeardbandit NC (real name James H. Bullock Jr.) is a popular digital content creator and food reviewer from the Pollocksville area of Jones County. He reviews everything from gas station eats to five-star restaurants, with a focus on authentic Eastern North Carolina barbecue and southern comfort food.
