Local donations can make a difference for animals waiting for their next home. 🐾

Associates at our Wheelersburg, Ohio, branch recently collected donations for Sierra's Haven For New And Used Pets, a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter that has been rescuing and caring for animals in the Scioto area since 2006.

With the shelter caring for many cats and dogs at any given time, community donations help support the work that goes into providing for animals in their care.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to help Sierra’s Haven continue serving local animals.

Preserving local history helps keep the stories of a community accessible for generations to come.

The Peoples Bank Foundation recently made a donation to the Belpre Historical Society & The Farmers Castle Museum to help catalog and digitize the many artifacts, records and historical materials housed at the Farmers Castle Museum in Belpre, Ohio.

The museum serves as a repository for local artifacts and archives, including photographs, correspondence, newspapers and records dating from the 1790s to the present. It also provides genealogy and local history research assistance to the community.

Peoples Bank associates Aimee Seabolt, AVP Branch Manager of the Belpre, Ohio, branch, and Kara Huff, Personal Banker, presented the donation.

We appreciate the work of the Belpre Historical Society to preserve and share the history of the Belpre community.

Associates at our Martin, Kentucky, branch collected essential items for the Floyd County Homeless Shelter, including toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap and body wash, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, and clothing.

Helping Hands of Greenup County helps provide food and other essential assistance to neighbors throughout the community.

Peoples Bank associates recently presented a donation from our Jeans for Hunger program to help further that work. Helping Hands offers several food-focused programs, including emergency food assistance, a senior box program, a backpack program and summer food service.

Peoples Bank Branch Managers Amy Cremeans of Greenup, Kentucky, Gabriel Boyd of Ashland, Kentucky, and Nori Lester of Russell, Kentucky, presented the donation to Dan Blevins, Executive Director of Helping Hands of Greenup County.

Through Jeans for Hunger, Peoples Bank associates donate a portion of their paychecks for the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays and Saturdays, helping direct funds to organizations addressing hunger in the communities we serve.

Preserving Jackson Ward means protecting a neighborhood deeply rooted in Richmond’s African American history, business, arts, music and culture.

The Peoples Bank Foundation recently presented a donation to the Historic Jackson Ward Association, which works to preserve, protect and promote this historic Richmond, Virginia, neighborhood.

Lisa Rodriguez, AVP Branch Manager of the Richmond branch, and Kevin Williams, Personal Banker, presented the donation to Vicki Mollenauer, Treasurer, and Janis Allen, President of the Historic Jackson Ward Association.

Through preservation, local business support, cultural events and neighborhood revitalization, the association helps carry Jackson Ward’s legacy forward for future generations.

Through its programs and services, The Arc works to empower, assist and encourage individuals to live, learn, work, worship and play alongside others in the community.
