It is with heavy hearts that we share that our father, Stewart Cruse, has passed away. During this incredibly difficult time, we are working to understand and manage all aspects of the business he built with such care and dedication.

What you need to know about Medicare Supplement policies:

✔️ You must have Medicare Part A and Part B.
✔️ If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan, you can switch to a Medicare Supplement insurance policy, but make sure you can leave the Medicare Advantage Plan before your Medicare Supplement insurance policy begins
✔️ You pay the private insurance company a monthly premium for your Medicare Supplement insurance policy in addition to the monthly Part B premium that you pay to Medicare.
✔️ A Medigap policy only covers one person
✔️ You can buy a Medicare Supplement insurance policy from any insurance company that's licensed in your state to sell one.
✔️ Any standardized Medicare Supplement insurance policy is guaranteed renewable even if you have health problems
✔️ Medicare Supplement insurance policies sold after January 1, 2006 aren't allowed to include prescription drug coverage

In 2025, Medicare will see key changes to improve affordability and access to care. This will lead to big changes in premiums, copays and drug costs this open enrollment. Lower drug costs, coverage changes and new benefits

The Inflation Reduction Act will have an adverse effect on Medicare Part D program (drug coverage) for 2025.

The effects will be felt by millions of beneficiaries and most will experience higher cost. Many will certainly save some money at the pharmacy, but those cost savings will likely be offset by other costs and plan restrictions.

Starting in October beneficiaries can begin reviewing their new options for 2025.

Agents are expecting this to be the busiest enrollment season yet. If you’ve got a dedicated agent, get on their calendar now for October.
