This afternoon I saw a man riding a bike with his helmet hanging from the handle bars. Not likely to protect his head in the event of a crash.

Of course this is just like insurance. Individuals and businesses may have policies, but do they fit right and will they work when you need them?

A quality financial plan includes coordinating your insurance with the rest of the plan to insure fit and function.

This weekend, specifically Friday and Tuesday when the markets were open, was a time for harvest and reseed for a majority of the portfolios I manage.

You may not get excited about this, but I do. This is a time when I get to capture the growth of the assets inside their accounts and reset our strategy back to their individual baselines. I know it doesn't sound like it, but this is a huge win for a large majority of my clients. Looking forward to what this next reseeding may bring.
