Early May views of the Mifflin County Armagh Township "Public Trail Improvement" project site, which is adjacent to an unnamed tributary of Laurel Creek, show just how beautiful this space already is.

Wildflowers line the stream, benches offer quiet places to pause, and birdhouses dot the trail with scenic countryside all around.

This summer, the existing cinder loop trail around the Armagh Township Municipal facility will be graded and paved, making it even more accessible for residents & visitors.

The public comment period for the draft 2027–2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is coming to a close.

The TIP lists federally funded and regionally significant transportation projects planned for implementation in the SEDA COG MPO region—Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties.

Review the draft and submit comments at https://bit.ly/4mBhfqh.
