Hi, I’m Jolene Hutchinson, and I’m an Administrative Assistant. I wear a few different hats in my role, but one of my favorites is managing our social media presence. I love using creativity and organization to keep our clients informed, engaged, and connected to what’s happening in the agency. It’s such a great way to bring people together and share helpful information in a more personal way.
I came into the insurance and risk management world with one main goal: I wanted to work for a small, community-focused company where I could really make a difference. With my background in admin and social media—and with a lot of prayer and the Lord’s guidance—I found exactly what I was looking for here at Covenant/Anthony Insurance.
One thing I’m especially proud of is helping boost our online presence. Seeing our Google ranking improve and knowing we’re more visible and accessible to clients—that’s been a great feeling and a fun challenge to take on.
As for my daily routine, I usually start the morning with a regular medium roast coffee and a splash of French vanilla creamer. But if I’m treating myself? It’s definitely a French vanilla cappuccino. Saturdays are for slowing down—I love spending time at home with my husband and our kids, whether we’re sharing a good meal, playing games, or having a cozy movie night together.
Outside of work, I enjoy crafting and supporting some of our favorite local spots. One of mine is the Papertown Dairy Bar & Restaurant—I’m especially a fan of their black raspberry soft serve!
A verse that means a lot to me and really guides how I approach life is Isaiah 41:13: “For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” That reminder helps me stay grounded, faithful, and focused on being a support to others—whether at work or at home.
And some of the best advice I’ve ever gotten came from my dad: “Go with your first instinct—your gut is never wrong.” That’s something I carry with me every day.
I try to bring a creative, supportive, problem-solving mindset to everything I do. Being part of a team that values those qualities—and gets to serve our community in the process—makes this role so meaningful to me.
