For those moving to Maryland:

Maryland is launching new enforcement on an older law requiring you to register your vehicle where you live within 60 days of moving there. This enforcement is aimed to curb some recent out of state vehicle registration work-arounds folks are using to save money on registration. More information on the new enforcement program, it's fairly steep penalties, and how to register your vehicle properly and be in compliance can be found:
