Dear Friends. Some of you have been friends since my early days coming from Puerto Rico, High school friends, and some I have met along the way. I have shared parts of my life with some of you.
I am here to ask for your support. For the last 9 years, I have been trying to put my life on paper. In the hopes that it may inspire someone, maybe you or someone you know.

Yes, I had a challenging life ... But I am here, finally telling my story. Many of you played a role in getting me here. The story of my book is one of survival, perseverance, and a courageous mindset. We hear that word a lot, but as some of you know, it does make a difference in what you allow to see and hear.

I am asking for your support in the Pre-sale of my book: Searching for My PB and J Sandwich, My American Dream. This book is a memoir about my life from my early days growing up with an alcoholic mother and being abandoned by her multiple times to my teenage years in Leominster and trying to break out of the circle of poverty and abuse.

The stories I share of my life tell how my Guiding Angels helped me when I almost lost hope: when I was about to die in Puerto Rico as a kid, when my mother stabbed her boyfriend in a drinking rage; when I ran home scared, I would get robbed. There were always people that showed up and helped me through it.

And for that, I am alive today and sharing this journey.

Is leaving the corporate world for you?

4.5 million people (about twice the population of New Mexico) have in the Covid era.
How do you know if franchising or even business ownership is for you? We are told repeatedly how hard it is to be in business, start a business or even go to work for a startup business.

What we often forget is that all businesses had a start. Someone had an idea, good or bad, all businesses that you have ever worked for or will work, started with the same level of discussion in someone’s head. “What happens if I fail? how do I take care of my family? “
If Covid has taught us a lesson is: nothing is a sure thing.

The human psyche is so complex and so demanding of us that we often become overwhelmed by its control over us.
How do you mitigate the need to explore and become self-sufficient, with the risk of failure?
I did this by looking and buying a franchise, after the struggles of my first location, I have expanded into 11 locations, I bought another brand, and then I bought into real estate.
Things did not always go smoothly; it was no different than having a dreadful day or month or quarter at my previous company. But I can say, and I “preach”, that becoming self-employed was the best thing God gave me the power to do.
What is stopping you from at least exploring the possibility?
When I started, I did not have the opportunity to talk to someone like me, to give me guidance, and did most of the research to try and find the “right franchise or business opportunity for me.”
Where would the world be if those individuals who wanted to change the world stopped and kept their 9-5 jobs?
